Model 750 Opacity Monitor is a precision single beam with Solid-State electronic modulated source to provides continuous, low maintenance, precision measurement of opacity, smoke in industrial applications. It is a cost-effective instrument that serves as an aid in operating pollution and/or process control equipment.

A High performance Dust/Opacity Monitoring System with Single-Pass Transmissometer
The sensor system consists of an optical transmitter mounted on one side of the stack and a detector mounted on the other. The light source is electronically modulated making it insensitive to ambient light effect and projects a collimated beam of light. The 4-20mA output range is 0-100% Opacity and can be connected to a number of devices to control or display the opacity. 

Applications
Pipe duct of stacks from 1 to 36 inches can be measured. Typical uses are for bag houses, exhaust fan control, ideal for meeting Title V opacity (smoke) regulations soon to be enacted, crematoriums, oven exhaust, diesel test stand exhaust, duct fire alarm, multi-point systems and more.
