Design and Performance: 1402 control unit

  • In-Situ
  • Process Gas: ambient up to 790°C (1400°F)
  • Response time: Cell <100 milliseconds, Amplifier output <1 second, System 63% <18 seconds, System 95%<30 seconds
  • Calibration Error: <0.5%O2 over all
  • 2% O2 +/- 0.1%
  • Cal Drift <0.5% O2

System Description:

Each Model 1402 Oxygen analyzer control NEMA 12 enclosure contains an integral mounted Digital display, a reference air regulator, manual calibration span and zero controls, 4-20mA output. The 2100 probe standard material is 304 S.S. (316 option available).2100 probe

How It Works:

The Model 2100 probe extends the cell into the gas stream where the flue gas diffuses to it. The cell is maintained at 815°C and the cell emf is sent to the control unit to be processed and converted to % oxygen.

Features:

  • Pre-Tested - Each system is pre-tested and all gas plumbing is check before shipment. Connections for all gasses are made through NPT connections installed in the enclosure.
  • Reliable - Measurements are made on "wet, total sample basis" using the well known Nernst equation. Zirconium oxide fuel cell measurement of oxygen is currently used in installations worldwide.
  • Stable - The oxygen analyzer is insensitive to changes in process gas flow or temperature and is independent of fuel type.
  • On-Line Calibration - The oxygen sensor cell can operate for months without calibration, however a manual operated calibration gas control system is provided to test the system with certified gases.
  • No Sample Lines - No sample lines to clog, leak, dilute or slow system response time.

Low Maintenance - All components, including the detector are easily assessable and can be field serviced without removing the probe or the mounting flange. Long term, continuous operation with a minimum amount of operator intervention.
